Primrose Prep is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people in all educational interactions.
Safeguarding forms an important part of the standards and expectations maintained across all work undertaken through Primrose Prep.
All tutors working through Primrose Prep are carefully selected and are expected to maintain high professional and safeguarding standards.
As part of the onboarding process, tutors are required to provide:
an enhanced DBS certificate (or equivalent safeguarding check where appropriate),
proof of identity,
professional references,
and relevant educational qualifications.
Safeguarding documentation is reviewed before tutors begin working with families through Primrose Prep.
Tutors and educational professionals working through Primrose Prep are expected to:
maintain appropriate professional boundaries,
communicate respectfully and appropriately,
act in the best interests of the child,
and uphold high standards of professionalism at all times.
Many sessions are delivered online. Families remain responsible for ensuring that pupils participate in sessions within an appropriate home environment and with suitable supervision where necessary.
Any safeguarding concerns identified during educational interactions will be treated seriously and handled appropriately.
Where necessary, concerns may be signposted or referred to relevant authorities or safeguarding professionals.
Primrose Prep aims to provide educational support within a safe, respectful, and professionally guided environment for both pupils and families.
